Firestone's Denson on the Road to His Dream!

Tyshawn Denson’s goals weren’t too lofty.
The now 16-year-old Akron boxer said nearly two years ago he wanted to eventually fight professionally in the sport known as the “sweet science.”
A Firestone High School student, Tyshawn took a huge step in that direction in December when he earned a spot on USA Boxing’s Youth High Performance Team by taking first place in the USA Boxing Youth National Championship and Junior Open in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as a featherweight (125 pounds).
He will leave for Colorado Springs, Colorado, on March 3 and train until departing for Botevgrad, Bulgaria, for the Emil Jechev Memorial Tournament, which begins March 16. Full Article
