April 24 Update

Greetings Pfeiffer Families! Here is your update for the week!

As our week comes to an end, I want to thank each of you for all of the hard work that you are putting in. This is all so new to everyone, and I see you persevering through all of the challenges that have come your way. I am truly inspired by how everyone has come together to help learning continue over the past several weeks.

I’d like to offer a few reminders for everyone this week:

 * Please remember to take part in our lunch program. Lunch is served Monday through Thursday at Pfeiffer from 9:30 - 11:30.

 * If Chromebooks break they can be taken to Kenmore Garfield High School from 9:30 - 11:30 Monday through Thursday for replacement.

 * If you do not have internet access, or your internet access is spotty, APS has an entire team of people working on getting 100% of our families connected. Please call or email me or your child’s classroom teacher and we will get you on the Connectivity list.

 * If, during this time, you become homeless or have to double up with another family, please let us know. We have an entire department at APS dedicated to homeless services who can get you in contact with the right people in order to get you the help that you need.

 * We have had several questions about Spring Pictures and when those pictures will arrive. We were finally able to contact the representatives from Lifetouch, and those pictures are on the way. Once they arrive we will send them out to you.

 * I know this is all different and that it is hard, but you are resilient! Our new motto for the rest of the year is Pirates Persevere! I know our entire Pfeiffer family will come together and persevere through this crisis.

I’d like to end our week with our Pfeiffer mission statement:

We as a Pfeiffer family will be respectful and responsible. We will persevere in our learning in order to achieve and succeed in our school, our community, and our world

Thank you, again, for all of your hard work! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy. Have a great weekend, everyone.
